We understand that there is more to learning than math, reading, and science. Every experience with a child is a prospect to teach, learn and develop. From arts and crafts to meal time we never miss a chance to educate. Our balanced approach to learning gives your child the tools to become a confident and passionate student. An education from the Learning Center will provide your child with a unique learning experience arming them with life skills that go beyond the traditional curriculum.
Infant Care
6 Weeks - 12 Months
We provide a caring and nurturing environment for your infant. Our first goal is to always develop a trusting relationship between caregiver and child. We strive to lay a positive foundation for your infants’ social and emotional development. We offer every infant eye to eye contact and continuous verbal interaction. We understand the importance of holding infants, talking to, singing with, and reading to all children.
Each infant classroom is also designed to offer ample floor and tummy time. The floor is the ideal place to encourage the development of physical milestones such as; holding up ones’ head, rolling over and crawling. With scheduled tummy time, we are enhancing these developments by strengthening an infant’s neck, arms, and tummy.
Parents are required to provide diapers, wipes, and all meals for their infant. We work adamantly to remain consistent with an infant’s home schedule and encourage all new families to provide us with notes of their child’s current daily schedule. Communication with our parents is vital in ensuring that we are providing the care for their child that they are expecting.

Toddler Care
1 Year - 3 Years
During the Toddler years there are many different skills that are developing as well as strengthening. These skills range widely from language/vocabulary to large muscle development and will vary considerably based on the particular age of a toddler. It is our goal to ensure that every child is given the patience, tools and opportunities to successfully master each and every one of these skills.
We offer positive interactions along with ample opportunity to explore and discover, naturally enhancing a toddler’s development. We offer a structured routine in our toddler classrooms with the understanding that a toddler’s interests as well as attention span can determine the day’s events. We are constantly encouraging the use of words and expression.
Learning is taking place throughout the entire day with children. In addition to the natural experiences taking place, toddlers are also exposed to teacher directed and hands on sensory exploration, dramatic play, and free art experiences. We also initiate circle times that are fun and engaging. Circle times include singing, dancing, and reading stories.
As the older toddlers prepare to enter one of our Preschool classrooms, a more structured circle time is offered for that age group. This includes a simple introduction to the calendar, weather chart, and certain tools that are staples in our Preschool program. We do work specifically with this older toddler group on things such as slowly increasing attention spans, socialization, and self-help skills. In addition, we also work toward encouraging more independence. This focus will pave the way to a successful Preschool journey for your child.

Preschool Program
2 Years - 4 Years
We offer a well-balanced early childhood education programmed using the Montessori method of teaching. This fosters a holistic development for your child, respecting their emotional, spiritual, physical and moral facets. Maximum involvement between home and preschool is always encouraged. The children work co-operatively in a mixed age childcare setting, where values of respect and independence are cultivated. Children develop tools for learning and master academic skills. They learn to concentrate, self-initiate, problem solve and organized themselves.
We provide a structured learning environment – prepared into four general areas – the areas focus on: practical life, the five senses, language and math’s. Classes are limited to create an intimate learning environment. Our children’s happiness and security are paramount, nurturing their desire and enthusiasm to learn.

Kindergarten Program
5 Years - 6 Years
Our Kindergarten programs offer before and after school care for your little ones the first year of school. We provide transportation to and from your child’s public school, unless otherwise provided by the town. In each of the towns in which we provide service, the children do attend full day kindergarten at their assigned local school.
When returning to daycare from school in the afternoon, children are offered arts and craft opportunities as well as the chance to play within the classroom stations. They are also able to participate in outside playtime. In the event the children are with us for an extended period of time, such as vacation weeks, we plan activities that will place an emphasis on reinforcing the skills and knowledge that a child is acquiring during the Kindergarten school year.
We provide all day care for Kindergartners on days that the public school is not in session (professional development days, snow days, early release days, vacation weeks, and summer months). Peace of mind for a parent comes from knowing you will not have to struggle to find care on these days.

Before & After School Care
6 Years - 12 Years
Our school age programs offer before and after school care for children enrolled in first through fifth grade. Day and Night Daycare provides transportation to and from your child’s assigned public school.
In addition to before and after care, we also offer extended care for school age children on all days that school is not in session (professional development days, snow days, delayed opening and early release days, vacation weeks, and summer months).
Homework time is scheduled daily and we will offer assistance to children whose parents have given parental consent. In the afternoon the children are also offered arts and crafts opportunities as well as time to play outdoors and participate in group games. Summer vacation weeks and full days off from school follow a structured activity schedule similar to our summer camp.
